A twist to one of our favorite potato recipes: rosemary sweet potatoes. Easy to make and a great addition to a plate of grilled meat. Try and enjoy!
Even if you are not the lucky owner of an ice cream maker, this is a great method for making ice cream at home. By processing the ice cream in a food processor after freezing it the first time, you break the ice crystals that would make the ice cream crunchy rather than smooth. For this recipe you don’t even need to make a custard. Make the base, freeze, chop and enjoy!
This is probably what you buy canned in the supermarket. Nothing wrong with that, but wait until you try this homemade version. You will be pleasantly surprised by the combination of heat, acidity and a hint of spice. You will never want anything else!
I like to make enough to fill up a 4 liter jar so I always have plenty at hand. They keep forever in the fridge (but usually don’t last that long). Simply addictive!…
We serve these burgers often at events and they are always a hit. They look super-cute and the combination of the grilled meat with the smokey flavor of the chipotle mayo is an absolute winner!
You can also easily turn these into regular size burgers for a delicious lunch or dinner. Just make the buns and the burgers a little bigger….
When I buy a bucket of fresh lionfish, I usually end up with a lot of differently sized fish. I can slice some really nice fillets out of the big ones, but the smallest fish really aren’t worth the effort. But of course it would be a shame to throw them out. That’s why I came up with the following recipe. It makes a great snack for a dinner party. Just dig in and pull the meat off with your fingers. Don’t eat the whole fish though, just the meat!
Of course, there is nothing against preparing the bigger lionfish the same way. Just make sure to fry them a little longer until the fish is done, about 6-10 minutes depending on their size.Print
Please make sure to chop everything by hand. Making this with a blender or food processor will give you an entirely different sauce.
